Paintball has become a hugely popular sport, and so it only makes sense that with the dramatic increase in participants and increased demand for equipment, that there would be an increase in paintball supply to cater to this growing market. Paintball supply is a general term that is equivalent to “paintball store” or sponsor. A paintball supply is a store, either physical or online, where one can get any type of supplies needed.

Many paintball supply places will often times have a “package deal” for those just getting into the sport. This can include a gun with ammonition, goggles, or any collection of equipment needed by anyone before going out to join a paintball game. Part of what makes a paintball supply useful is not only do they offer equipment at every level of pricing, from the cheapest paintball markers to the most expensive ones, but paintball markers can often be upgraded in many ways: the barrel, the air tank, the ammo holder, the sights, all of these things can be changed and upgraded, and a paintball supply will have all the necessary parts, pieces, and experience to do so.

A paintball gun package is not a bad way for a beginner to start off, if the beginner has done enough work to have a vague idea of what they want. The paintball guns often come with gravity-fed hoppers ranging from a hundred rounds and up (and know your style: if you are a sniper, don’t pay an extra $20 for a hopper that holds another 100 rounds of ammo). Paintball supply places will have experts to help you out, but that can only be so helpful. You have to have a basic idea of what you’re looking for or how deep your interest is, and beyond that don’t discount an expert’s advice too quickly. They can save you a lot of grief.

Paintball supplies such as barrels, goggles and safety gear, ball hauling, loaders, gun accessories, clothing and apparel, and even odd ball odds and ends such as paintball mines are often available from a paintball supply. Much of this can be bought online, though if you have a paintball supply in your area, you should visit the store in person, especially if you are a newbie.

A paintball supply is also likely to be the local hang out for individuals who are really into the paintball scene in general. This can help teach you the lingo, you can listen to what products are really impressing, and which ones are falling flat. These players will also have an idea of any major events going on in the area, or might even know about some great get together or paintball fields you didn’t even know existed. If nothing else, it never hurts to absorb wisdom from the experts, so that you will know what you are doing and have more confidence as you go further and further into the paintball world.

A paintball supply is a place that can serve all your needs, both for equipment, and for camaraderie. Don’t dismiss it off hand, because you never know what that one afternoon trip to the paintball supply could turn into.

Today paintball is one of the most popular sports not only in the United States but around the world. It is a fun and exciting game that offers adventure to its players. When getting on the paintball field, it is very important to consider your one important friend – the paintball gun.

Paintball would not be paintball without the paintball gun. All paintball guns may look the same but it is important to remember that choosing the right paintball gun is not an easy task. Here are some tips that you may need to consider:

1. The very first thing that needs to be considered when buying a paintball gun is the price. It is important that the buyer determine his budget for the gun. There are many paintball guns in the market and prices may range from $100 to $900. The cost of the gun will depend on the brand and features that come with it.

2. It is recommended a person test all types of guns before buying one. He may want to try those that he has borrowed or rented which will give him the chance to choose which a gun that works for him. The paintball gun should provide ease of use and comfort for the user.

3. Before buying a paintball gun, it is important that he decide on the size of the gun, the paintball loader and the tank that he desires. Remember that the bigger the tanks and the paintball loaders the heavier the gun becomes. A good gun should be the right size for the user and should contain the amount of paintball needed to fire at the opponents.

4. The buyer should shop around first before deciding on a particular paintball gun. This will give him the chance to evaluate and compare prices. Some shops offer lower prices than other shops, so do some research and purchase the one that fits your needs and pocketbook.

5. Seek advice from friends who play paintball, instructors, and coaches of paintball games who will be able to provide some tips on what paintball guns they have used and have found effective. Paintball stores can also recommend some good paintball guns and/or those that they most often sell to their customers.

After choosing the right paintball gun, you must familiarize yourself with the machine. Practicing with the paintball gun will help you move with the gun as well as apply some strategies for using the gun.

Paintball is becoming one of the most loved hobbies today. With exciting game play and awesome equipment options, paintball sure is a hobby that should be explored.

The heart of a paintball game is the paintball gun. Without the gun, the game play of paintball would be rather boring. Paintball guns are filled with paint (what else) and uses a gas which expands rapidly (like carbon dioxide) to propel the paint balls into the target.
The air can propel a ball through the air at approximately 300 feet per second. This is the appropriate speed for a paint ball so as to make it break when it comes in contact with a target and to avoid tissue damage upon contact.

There are several components that comprise the paintball gun. These are:

a) Body
b) Barrel
c) hopper
d) tank

There are many different customizations that one can do with his paintball gun. A person can choose from a variety of guns with different specifications and features. There are paintball guns out there that have a firing system which is electro-pneumatic, which means that the firing system is electronically controlled. There are also sear trippers which utilizes a hammer which slams into the valve containing the bullet which propels it into target. There are also paint guns out there which utilize the power of the gas to propel the ball into the air.

When it comes to the barrels of paintball guns, they usually come in 12, 16, 18 or 20 inches. There are also people out there who were able to order customized paintball gun barrels which can reach up to 40 inches! People opt to have longer barrels because these barrels make less noise than the shorter ones because they limit the escape of excess gas.

However, there’s no difference in terms of accuracy or noise reduction qualities when it comes to comparing a 16-inch barrel to a 40-inch barrel. The problem with very long barrels is that it can slow a player down quite significantly.

Paintball guns also come in different firing modes. Some paintball guns have pump action, but this type of gun is not for the player who seeks speed because it requires manual cocking. However, it is a good gun have when learning the basics of paintball because it focuses on skills and not on fire power. There are also semi-automatic paintball guns in the market. It reloads a new paintball whenever the trigger is pulled. The fully automatic paintball guns give a lot of fire power. These guns will reload and fire automatic rounds as long as the trigger is pulled.

Here are some tips on how to choose a paintball gun:

1. Know your budget

As with any other hobby, one must define his budget for buying a paintball gun. The guns in the market can cost from a hundred dollars to less than a thousand. Guns which are semi-automatic and fully automatic ones use more gas than the manually reloaded ones. These factors should all be considered when defining one’s budget.

2. Be practical

If it’s possible for a player to play with a borrowed gun, he might as well do that and rethink about buying a brand new one.

3. Shop for second-hand guns

Another option is to buy a second-hand paintball gun. These guns are usually good enough to play decently without digging a deep hole in one’s pockets.

4. Ask the best buy

If one is too enthusiastic about getting a brand new gun, he should consult his buddies regarding what gun gives quality performance at a reasonable price.

These are some simple tips which can be overlooked sometimes. Remember that paintball is just a hobby, a great one if I may say but it’s not something that should waste one’s money away. Be wise and have fun.

Are you looking to buy a cheap paintball gun? Maybe you have been paintballing a while and you are about to make your first paintball gun purchase. Are you short on advice on how to decide what makes cheap paintball gun a good cheap paintball gun? Well look no further for this article gives you clear, practical criteria for assessing what is good and cheap, and what is just cheap.

In a nutshell, a good cheap paintball gun will satisfy all the following criteria, but it will have none of the fancy features of the more expensive models. When doing your research and asking people how they rate a paintball gun, keep the criteria in mind.

Reliability and durability

Even a cheap paintball gun should be reliable and durable. The paintball gun needs to take some heavy knocks and not complain, it needs to function in all temperatures, be able to load paint and charge up with air and fire without causing you problems. If a paintball gun cannot do this, it is a bad paintball gun. It is therefore essential to take a paintball gun for a thorough field test before you decide to buy.

Ease of operation

A good cheap paintball gun will be really easy to use. A good way to assess usability is to have a read of the manual. Does it look easy to use? Avoid paintball guns where you have to use more than one tool to adjust the paintball gun velocity, or where you have to take the paintball gun apart to adjust velocity. Again, a field test will reveal all you need to know about ease of use.

Precision and velocity

Fired at the same spot, the paintball gun should be sending balls to that target with reasonable consistency from twenty five meters. Try fixing the paintball gun to a tree so that it can’t move. Then fire away and see how precise it is now that you have removed human inconsistency from the equation. If balls seem to occasionally fall short, then it looks like the ‘chrono’ velocity, the speed with which balls leave the gun, is inconsistent and so precision is suffering. Velocity needs to be consistent and high enough to give you reasonable range.

Paintball gun paint

A good cheap paintball gun will work with any brand of paint ball. A good cheap paintball gun won’t get all snooty if it’s firing lower quality paintballs, but a bad one will often break the cheaper balls. This an important issue, since when you get to the play area, you often have little choice in the brand of paintball that you are given.

Weight

A good cheap paintball gun should be relatively lightweight. Keep in mind that you will be carrying it all day, running around and if it really takes the strain on your arms then it is no good for you.

A safety mechanism

A good cheap paintball gun will have a safety mechanism which will make the paintball gun impossible to fire.

Ease of maintenance and cleaning

A good cheap paintball gun will be easy to maintain, easy to take apart and easy to clean. You should not have to spend much time on maintenance or cleaning. Again, check the manual and see how easy it looks to maintain and clean. Avoid paintball guns that require a lot of oiling. For example, if a paint ball gun needs oiling every two hundred balls then this is going to seriously compromise your playing ability and your fun.

Aftermarket upgrades and accessories

A good cheap paintball gun will be upgradeable and will be compatible with accessories.
